❤ Luciérnaga - Firefly

Estoy muy contenta de como me ha quedado la luciérnaga y además ¡brilla en la oscuridad de verdad! El patrón es de Lalylala, al igual que la abejita, no viene en el libro Escarabajos, bichos y mariposas pero bien podría porque hace juego con todos los bichitos de su libro.

Tenía miedo a trabajar con el hilo que brilla en la oscuridad de DMC usándolo para hacer ganchillo pero fue muy fácil. Además en el patrón se explica muy bien como preparar los cabos de la madeja para que quede del grosor del hilo Natura Just Cotton, también de DMC. Me ha resultado mucho más fácil de lo que pensaba y ha quedado muy bonita.

Ya tengo dos bichillos para mi colección, la abejita y la luciérnaga. Pronto añadiré más.

I am very happy how my firefly looks and also because it really shines in the dark! The pattern is from Lalylala, like the little bee, both of them aren't in the book: Beetle, Bugs and Butterflies but they fit in it  because they matches with all the bugs in the book.
I was afraid to work with DMC's glow in the dark yarn using it to crochet but it was very easy. In addition, the pattern explains very well how to prepare the thread of the skein so it will be same thickness of the Natura Just Cotton thread, also from DMC. It was much easier for me than I thought and it was very pretty.
I already have two now for my collection, the bee and the firefly. I will add more soon.
