Lo hago oficial, a lo largo de este año voy a intentar seguir el ritmo de "Welcome to Pumpkinville" ¿Puede haber un patrón más bonito que hacer a punto de cruz durante tooooooodo 2019?

Welcome to Pumpkinville es un patrón de "The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery" en el que cada mes se hará una parte de una ciudad.

There might be no project more adorable than "Welcome to Pumpkinville" and I must confess I am going to stitch it during 2019. 
Welcome to pumpkinville is a pattern from "The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery" a stitch along where everymonth we will stitch a place of a beautiful city.

Me encanta la paleta de colores de DMC elegida para estre trabajo. En mi caso hay dos colores que he cambiado. El blanco brillante del proyecto original tiene brillitos y además brilla en la oscuridad. El que he cogido yo, el E5200 de DMC, tiene brillitos pero no brilla en la oscuridad, eso si ¡es precioso! Para las separaciones entre meses el patrón utiliza una mezcla de dos hilos en tonos azulados. En un principio pensé en poner un hilo azul sin más pero en la tienda ya puestos a mirar colores elegí también un degradado en azules. Si no me gusta como queda cambiaré sobre la marcha, cogí el 4025.

 

I love the DMC color palette chosen for Pumpkinville but there are two colors that I had to change. Insteed the Glo White I bougth the DMC E5200, it has glitters but it doesn't glow in the dark. For the separations between months the pattern uses a mix of two blue threads, I thought about putting just a single thread but at the shop I choose a gradient in blue, if I don't like it I will change it on the fly.

He intentado enseñaros el brillo de la madeja blanca y el degradado de la de los azules en una foto. Creo que en la de los azules se puede ver algo mejor pero los brillos en la blanca... no lo conseguí. Si tenéis oportunidad de verla en la mercería os gustará. I tried to show you the brightness of the white skein and the gradient of the blues in a photo. You can see the blue but I was not able to show the brightness in the white.
