❤ Labores del Hogar Especial Naviad - Labores del Hogar Christmas 2020 issue

 (English below)

These days Instagram is full with lots of Christmas stuff to do.  I have a huge To do list of beautiful things, many of then already in progress, I can't wait. Anyway I did not want to end November withouth showing you Labores del Hogar (Spanish Craft magazine) Christmas special issue.

I already showed you some Instagram stories with the beautiful things inside this issue tbut I also wanted it to stay on the blog too.

Labores del Hogar is a magazine that has always been in my house and it is still there, I keep all the issues that belong too my mother. I kept buying it myself because years ago, as a child, I was an avid cross stitcher but I have to say that in the last few years I was a bit bored of it. The world of craft had advanced a lot and the magazine, in my opinion, was still stuck in the same old crafts.

Some few issues ago the magazine evolved and gave place  to many new crafts and I felt in love with it again. The photos and the magazine looks more beautiful too.

In this issue you will fin a bit of everything: patchwork, crochet, Christmas tables ideas, embroidery, felt, advent calendars, ideas for wrapping gifts with handmade details, fabric dolls and my favorite one, Ameskeria seccion. In this issue interviews with Carla "Amour Fou Crochet" and pattern to make Fausto the monkey and interview with June Mira "Kurumi" and her patterns to make trees and Yuki the Gentle Snowman.

And ... well,  I have a small complaint that I have already transferred to the magazine and that they told me that they were taking notes. The amigurumi patterns come as graphics, which I don't care about but they are very small and it is difficult to follow the rounds and see the numbers too. It took me sometime to put write the tree pattern in a notebook so I could do it without getting lost. I think amigurumis lovers would apreciate if, in addition to the graphic, the pattern would come in a table or something similar.

Here are some photos of the things that I liked the most about the magazine.
